Ross County turned on the style in a devastating display of finishing to trounce a shell-shocked Alloa 6-1 at Victoria Park.
Stuart Golabek opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a superb finish after Sean Higgins and Adam Strachan combined to set up the chance.
Andy Barrowman doubled County's lead 10 minutes later when he tucked away a Gary Miller cross, and Higgins made it 3-0 in the 36th minute with a superb half volley.
Dene Shields headed home a fourth after Barrowman helped on a Higgins free-kick after 55 minutes, and Alex Keddie nodded in a Higgins corner after 61 minutes.
Alloa substitute Adam Coakley pulled one back with a shot that came off the underside of the bar with five minutes remaining, but Andy Dowie completed the rout when he found the top corner in injury time.
