Dumbarton eked out a 1-1 draw at Stenhousemuir in a match that saw both sides have a man sent off to ensure the top two sides shared the spoils at Ochilview.
The home side were reduced to 10 men after only five minutes when Kevin Motion was dismissed for a foul.
Dumbarton were unable to capitalise when they also had a player dismissed 10 minutes later when Gary Wilson was sent off for a foul.
Stenhousemuir missed two glorious chances to take the lead in the first half but eventually scored the first goal through an Andrew Brand strike in the 61st minute.
Dumbarton pushed for an equaliser and they were rewarded five minutes from time when a Stevie Murray shot was deflected past home keeper Scott Bennett.
