Alloa might well feel they should have taken more at Stranraer as the hosts snatched a deserved share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Although they went in at the break behind thanks to a penalty from Stranraer's Greg Tade, the visitors had shown more interest in pushing forward and Jamie Stevenson was twice denied by home goalkeeper Scott Black.

Stranraer started the second half brightly and Tade put one wide and hit a post but it was Alloa who found the net, Andrew Scott heading home in the 55th minute after a Steven McKeown chip crashed off the bar and rebounded to him.

Stranraer looked to be down and out when Douglas Hill headed home an Iain Campbell cross in the 72nd minute, only for John Kane to pull them level with a strong header from Alex White's free-kick with four minutes left.
