Morton booked their place in the last eight of the Alba Challenge Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Third Division East Stirling.
The visitors took the lead after 22 minutes when Steve Masterton hit a powerful 25-yard drive high into the corner of the net when no other option looked on for the midfielder.
Morton then doubled their advantage after 32 minutes when the home defence failed to clear a corner and Ryan McGuffie picked up the loose ball to shoot home from 20 yards.
Shire could have brought themselves back into the game shortly after but Colin Cramb's free-kick slammed back off a post with the keeper beaten.
The Greenock side made sure of victory eight minutes after the restart.
A Masterton corner was again poorly cleared from the home penalty box and McGuffie collected the ball to shoot home low through a forest of legs from the 18-yard line.
